Physical development begins at a very early stage in a Child and in School there is much scope to channelize this development. When they come to us the children fall in the age group of 3 and half years to 8 and half years. To enable our children to develop their sports skills, the following activities will be conducted throughout the year.
Basic skills in Football like – kicking, passing and stopping the ball will be taught.
Similarly dribbling and passing the ball will be taught in Basketball. In Gymnastics general warming up exercises, stretching, flexibility, front roll and back roll will be done.
Apart from the above, recreational and indoor games like skipping, kho-kho, carom and chess will be introduced. As a regular weekly feature Mass P.T. and Drill will be conducted.
