Jai Hind Hind… Jai Hind Haid! We are all ONE!
Republic Day is celebrated on January 26 every year to remember the day when the Constitution of India came into effect after India gained independence after a very long freedom struggle.
A feeling of patriotism rose when students of Std. VII presented a beautiful assembly on the occasion of Republic Day. The assembly began by felicitating Gandhita Mahabale of Std. VIII for securing the 2nd runners up position in Young Achievers Award category awarded by IIHTM. She certainly brought laurels to our school. This was followed by imbibing the very spirit of Republic Day, where the day began with a prayer which strengthened our mind and soul to do what is right. We then had our Respected Principal Ma’am Ms. Candice Braganza, unfurling our National Flag and enlightening the young minds with her thought-provoking speech. The assembly was then taken forward with a mesmerizing play – which made us understand the true meaning of ‘Unity in Diversity’, a melodious song & poem enthralled us and gave us a patriotic feeling. The elegant dance, brought smiles to our faces. It was with a true spirit of patriotism that the students performed their roles to make this day a special and memorable one for everyone.
