Dealing with integrity and honesty is in our hands, it is connected to the values that we have
and how we deal with it. It cannot be compromised but is an ongoing commitment to respect
moral, ethical, spiritual and artistic values and principles.
The nation observes Vigilance Awareness Week every year on the occasion of the birth
anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the 1st home minister of India. This year the theme
for the vigilance awareness week was “Vigilant India, Prosperous India”.
The CBI, being the premier investigating agency of the country, has the mandate to fight
corruption and white-collar crimes. It has anti-corruption branches all across the nation. The
CBI, Anti-corruption branch (ACB), Pune was observing Vigilance Awareness week and
planned various activities for students which were carried out by the school.
1. A brief on the importance of the vigilance awareness week was given to the students and
Integrity Pledge was taken by everyone.
2. A session pertaining to honesty and integrity in public life was scheduled during the V.Ed
session for the students.
3. Students of classes V, VI and VII were encouraged to make posters on the theme “Vigilant
India, Prosperous India”.
Students of classes VIII, IX and X were motivated to write essays on the theme “Vigilant India,
